The incident has been resolved following extensive investigation, troubleshooting, and several highly scientific attempts at turning it off and on again.

The underlying cause has been identified as “something was fucked.”

The server is now clean, operational, and pretending nothing happened.

Impact: Users were temporarily deprived of their legally acquired entertainment.
Duration: Long enough to become embarrassing....

Power has been restored and the homelab has successfully returned from its unscheduled power nap.

The server and services are back online and operating normally.

No components were harmed during this incident, although several services are understandably still processing what just happened.

Root cause: Power outage.
Resolution: Electricity has been rediscovered.
Operator involvement: Minimal for once.
Status: Resolved.

The ISP has returned from its journey.

External connectivity has been restored and jf.homecave.site is once again reachable from outside the Homecave network.

Jellyfin external access has been verified as operational.

No changes were required on the Homecave side. We simply waited patiently for the Internet to come back, as one does in a healthy and totally normal relationship with an ISP.
